1. What is Snail Mucin and how does it benefit my skin?

Snail mucin is a naturally derived ingredient rich in glycoproteins, hyaluronic acid, and glycolic acid. It helps deeply hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark spots, and support the skin's natural repair process. Our Snail Mucin Face Cream combines this hero ingredient with niacinamide and additional active botanicals for visible results.

2. Is this product safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Our cream is formulated with ingredients commonly used in skincare, but since every pregnancy is unique, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use to ensure complete safety.

3. Can teenagers use this product?

Yes, however teens with active acne or very oily skin should consult with a dermatologist before using rich or reparative skincare. The cream may be too nourishing for skin that requires lightweight formulations.

4. Is this product suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?

If your skin tends to be oily or easily congested, we recommend using a small amount and monitoring your skin's response. The formula is rich and restorative, so it may feel heavy for certain skin types when overused.

5. Can I use it alongside active ingredients like retinol or acids?

Yes, but we suggest introducing it gradually if you're using products that include retinoids, AHA/BHA acids, or vitamin C. Use in alternate routines or apply the cream after actives to buffer potential irritation.

6. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula is designed to be gentle, but every skin is unique. If you know your skin reacts to certain ingredients, we recommend performing a patch test before full-face application.

7. Does the product have fragrance or essential oils?

No artificial fragrance or essential oils are added. The natural scent comes from the active botanical ingredients used in the formulation.

8. How should I store the product?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not store in the bathroom or near open windows. Keep the cap tightly closed after each use to preserve product integrity.

9. What is the shelf life of the cream?

Unopened, the cream has a shelf life of 36 months from the manufacture date printed on the packaging. After opening, we recommend using it within 6 months for best performance.

10. Can I use it as a day cream and night cream?

You can use it both day and night. For daytime, apply a thin layer and follow with SPF. At night, it can be used as the final step in your routine for deep hydration and barrier repair.

11. Is the product cruelty-free?

Yes. Our cream is 100% cruelty-free. We do not test on animals, nor do we work with suppliers who do.

12. Can men use this cream?

Absolutely. Our skincare is gender-neutral and designed for all skin types, regardless of gender.

13. Can I apply makeup over the cream?

Yes, the cream works well as a hydrating base under makeup. Allow it to absorb fully before applying foundation or primer for best results.

14. How do I know if the cream is working for me?

Visible improvements may appear gradually — brighter tone, smoother texture, and more hydrated skin. Consistency is key. We recommend using the cream daily for at least 4 weeks before evaluating results.

15. What happens if I experience irritation?

Discontinue use immediately and consult a dermatologist if redness, burning, or excessive sensitivity occurs. Even the most gentle formulations may not suit everyone.

Shipping & Delivery

16. Where do you ship to?

We ship across Europe and to many international destinations. Our warehouse is based in the Netherlands and we ship via PostNL. During checkout you will see all available shipping destinations.

17. How much does shipping cost?

We offer a flat shipping rate of €5.99 across Europe. Orders above a certain threshold may qualify for free shipping — check the banner at the top of our website for current promotions.

18. How long does delivery take?

For most European destinations, delivery takes 3–7 business days after dispatch. Delivery times may vary depending on your country and local postal services. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has shipped.

19. Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a PostNL tracking link so you can follow your parcel in real time.

20. My order hasn't arrived — what should I do?

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please first check your tracking link. If there is no update for more than 5 business days, contact us at info@boudoircosmetics.com and we will investigate immediately.

Orders, Returns & Refunds

21. Can I return my order?

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery, but only if the product is completely unopened, unused, and in its original condition — protective seal intact and box undamaged. Due to hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns on opened or used skincare products.

22. How do I start a return?

To start a return, email us at info@boudoircosmetics.com within 15 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for return and we will provide you with instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent.

23. When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.

24. My product arrived damaged — what should I do?

We're sorry to hear that. Please contact us at info@boudoircosmetics.com within 48 hours of receiving your order, and include a photo of the damaged item. We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Discount Codes & Promotions

25. Do you offer discount codes?

Yes! We regularly offer discount codes through our newsletter, social media, and partner collaborations. You can also get 15% off by leaving a photo or video review on a previous order via our Loox review system. Sign up to our email list to stay updated on the latest promotions.

26. How do I apply a discount code?

Add your items to the cart and proceed to checkout. On the checkout page, you will see a field to enter your discount code. Type the code exactly as provided (codes are case-sensitive) and click Apply. The discount will be reflected in your order total before payment.

27. Can I use more than one discount code at once?

At this time, only one discount code can be applied per order. Discount codes cannot be combined with other active promotions unless explicitly stated.
